'1943

Taro Haramaki founded Hatsumaki Iron Works

Purchased the Tsurusawa Iron Works in Seirinji-cho, Yoshizuka, Hakata-ku from Mr. Tsurusawa and began operating the factory. During the war, it operated as a subcontractor for government agencies.

Established Nippon Magnetics Co., Ltd.

The magnet division was spun off from Haramaki Kikai Seisakusho Co., Ltd. Keiji Haramaki was appointed as the first president.

Tokyo office opened

Established subsidiary NIPPON MAGNETICS USA, INC. in Los Angeles, USA

Capital: $50,000, Keiji Haramaki as representative director. His third son, Kentoki Haramaki, is in charge of the actual work.

'1990

Manufacturing department became independent as Magnet Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Capitalized at 10 million yen, Toshiko Haramaki appointed as representative director.

'1991

Opened Nagoya office

At the same time as the new factory was completed at the current location, the head office and factory were relocated from the previous location in Chikushino City.
